Speaker Selectors: ATON Dynamic Level Adjustment (DLA) Series

ATON premiers the Dynamic Level Adjustment (DLA) series of speaker selectors, designed for multiroom routing and audio level control, and offering both radio frequency (RF) and infrared (IR) control.

ATON premiers the Dynamic Level Adjustment (DLA) series of speaker selectors, designed for multiroom routing and audio level control, and offering both radio frequency (RF) and infrared (IR) control. The selectors connect to home theaters and stereo receivers in addition to receiver second-zone outputs and can route audio to up to six pairs of wired speakers. Available in two-, four- (back shown), and six-room outputs, the DLA speaker selectors offer multiroom volume adjustment and preset “sound scenes,” plus power source monitoring. The RF control option, according to the company, offers time-saving installations, and the in-room IR receivers or touchpads provide multiple controls for the selectors and any other connected audio sources, such as CD players and radio tuners. An electronically controlled potentiometer ensures super-flat frequency response and 125-watt handling. The optional RF remote offers wireless control of the selectors from up to 200 feet away. Price: DLA Two-Room Speaker Selector, $299; Four-room Selector, $399; Six-room Selector, $499; RF Remote and Base Station, $99 - $139. For more information, contact ATON at www.atonhome.com.
