Stampede, a value-added distributor of presentation and home theater technology, plans to offer discounted training for dealers interested in digital signage. Stampede officials said it will hold Digital Signage Certified Expert (DSCE) training on October 26 and 27 at Salvatore’s Grand Hotel in Buffalo, N.Y., where the company’s headquarters are based.

DSCE program is a digital signage certification course taught by industry veteran Alan Brawn of Brawn consulting. Stampede is offering its dealers the opportunity to become DSCE certified for half the normal price of the coursework.

“During these tough economic times, Stampede is continually looking for ways to increase our dealers’ profitability and to help them save money” said Kevin Kelly, Stampede’s president and chief operating officer, in a statement. “By helping dealers become experts in digital signage technologies at a reduced rate, this program certainly does both.”

Company officials say Stampede’s own sales force will complete the training in order to stay knowledgeable and proficient in digital signage. To register for the course, contact Stampede at 800-398-5652.
