EAW’s new SB1002 is a large-format, dual-18-inch-loaded sub-woofer that can be groundstacked or flown via an integral rigging system. Offering a direct radiating design, the driver mounting maximizes cone area while it minimizes frontal area, resulting in an acoustical performance and physical configuration suited for creating large subwoofer arrays.

The two 18-inch drivers offer 4.5-inch voice coils and neodymium magnet structure that reduce weight. The operating range of the SB1002 is 27 Hz to 161 Hz (±3 dB) and the maximum sound pressure levels are 129 dB, 135 dB peak.
