The 1T-FC-677 allows SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals to be displayed on either an SDI or HDMI monitor. A processing bitrate of nearly 3 Gbps helps ensure fast signal transmission without signal loss and also allows greater flexibility in monitor selection, company officials said. It also comes with two equalized and re-clocked 3G/HD/SD-SDI outputs independent of the HDMI output.
The device automatically detects input the 3G/HD/SD-SDI signal type and supports up to eight channels of audio de-embedding is possible. Embedded SDI Audio channels are automatically detected and output over HDMI as either LPCM 2.0 or LPCM 7.1.
If there are fewer than eight active channels of audio, the 1T-FC-677 will automatically select the first two channels and output them over the analog stereo and HDMI outputs as LPCM 2.0, according to TV One. If there are eight active channels, the first two channels will be output over the analog stereo outputs and the HDMI output will contain a full LPCM 7.1 audio signal.
The unit employs the TV One task locking DC power connector to enhance overall system mechanical security. It has an MSRP of $395 and will be available this month.
