USAV Group Partners with Electrosonic
Electrosonic Products announced that it was chosen by USAV Group, a national association of professional AV integrators, to be a Preferred Manufacturing Partner (PMP).
Electrosonic Products announced that it was chosen by USAV Group, a national association of professional AV integrators, to be a Preferred Manufacturing Partner (PMP).
According to the company, the USAV Group’s goal is to leverage the experience and competencies of its affiliated integrators, PMPs, and management to meet the needs of clients and consultants locally and nationally. USAV’s 30 integrators dedicate themselves to designing, sourcing, implementing, and supporting commercial AV projects.
According to USAV CEO KC Schwarz, there is an arduous process to becoming a PMP. “We’re looking for partners with broad product lines and an excellent reputation, manufacturers with equipment that will achieve a critical mass among our integrators,” he said in a statement. “Manufacturers have to go through an exhaustive review process just to get in the game then have to win a two-thirds vote of our members. Electrosonic is the gold standard in growing and important niche in the pro AV arena, and we believe that USAV will help broaden their product distribution and increase penetration in this sector.”
Electrosonic Products produces three main product lines for the pro AV industry-video and graphics streaming encoders and decoders, multi-image video processing, and HD players-which coincide with the markets represented by USAV’s members: command and control, emergency operation centers, network operations centers, houses of worship, high-end digital signage, broadcast, government, and corporate.
In addition to providing access to a platform of integrators, USAV also offers PMPs a training and certification channel for their products.
