The AV2000 MultiMedia Cabling system from Wireworks connects multimedia systems through a single reliable plug-in, intended as a time- and cost-efficient solution for both installer and end-user. By combining audio, high-definition video, data, and control signals through a hybrid connector, it replaces the need for multiple tails and connectors. There are three components: the access point, the umbilical, and the link (shown). Access points can be pre-mounted on gang, rack, wall, or floorbox panels. The umbilicals are flex-wrapped cable assemblies with a line-type AV2000 connector on one end and a connectorized fan-out on the other.
