All Around Technology

For installation team All Around Technology, this home theater installation was a dream job. The client gave the installers the freedom to create the optimal theater ground up. There were no space constraints, the deadline was not compressed, the budget was appropriate, and they had a good working relationship with the client, architect, and builder.

The client has the luxury of going from sports country on the Eastern Shore to buttery-soft saddle brown electric recliners in this beautiful theater with seating for ten. The headrests, electric motors, and built-in wedges for drinks and snacks enhance the enjoyment of the experience. The warm mahogany pillars and moldings surround the acoustical panels covered with cocoa AcousTex fabrics stretched and held firm with patented SnapTex technology. All of this invites you to pick up the AMX Madero 8.2 wireless touchscreen. As you push the Show button, the lights fade slowly and the curtain rises on the 120in.-diagonal Stewart diamond-tech rear-projection screen.

To make video spring to life, All Around Technology used the Runco 992 Ultra, which projects the image through its color-corrected and filtered HD-8 lenses. It is housed on a custom Stewart sled/mirror mounting system concealed in a dedicated temperature-controlled rear-projection room. Triad LCR’s and four Gold surround speakers hidden behind the fabric walls along with two Triad Platinum subwoofers envelop you with spectacular sound. The audio system is tuned through the use of Rane equalizers and RPG acoustic devices specified by a renowned acoustical consultant. The processing power provided by the ADA Cinema Reference and the Runco VHD-4404 Ultra running at 840p produce the most life-like movie experience imaginable.
