The Kramer Electronics VP-440 presentation scaler-switcher is unique in Kramer’s ProScale line and represents a significant R&D effort. At a desktop (or ½ rack) size, it brings high performance features to a compact, cost-effective unit for classrooms, boardrooms and rental. Six inputs (4 HDMI/2 computer graphic video) are processed through a 15-pin HD connector. The unit includes both an HDMI and an HDBaseT output that simultaneously display the same scaled input signal. As a user-friendly product, the VP-440 includes built-in web pages over Ethernet as well as bidirectional RS-232 port tunneling through HDBaseT. With its unbalanced analog stereo inputs and outputs, the system also includes a microphone along with DSP options. Image quality is supported with Kramer’s PixPerfect pixel mapping technology; color, sharpness, contrast, and brightness can all be tuned via built-in ProCamp.
