Toshiba Cinema Series 72MX196 DLP TV

At 72in. diagonal, the 72MX196 Cinema Series XHD projection TV is Toshiba’s largest TV. The 72MX196 incorporates Toshiba’s TALEN engine with Texas Instruments’ HD5 chip, a Radiance 150W lamp and Toshiba’s PixelPure Hi-Bit 12-bit video processing. Hi-Bit provides 12-bit digital signal processing to create 4,096 steps of gradation for better detail and contrast. ATSC and QAM digital tuning are included for both digital terrestrial and digital cable-in-the-clear broadcasts. The set comes with two HDMI inputs, a PC input and a CableCard input, and Toshiba’s THINC RJ-45 network capability, which allows consumers to connect the TV to a PC through a router for playback of MP3 audio files and JPEG images.
