Oncore Power Systems, a supplier of portable power sources for laptops, has introduced a new line of fiber-optic network cables and cable assemblies. Oncore now offers fiber cable assemblies in 10Gb laser-optimized, standard 50-micron multimode, 62.5/125 multimode, single-mode, and mode-conditioning cables. Oncore also offers a wide range of connectors including LC, SC, ST and MTRJ, cable assemblies, and splitter and multidirectional couplers.

Fiber-optic cables are ideal for telecommunications, video applications, and computer networks for enterprise, small-to-medium-sized businesses, education, military, hospital, and other industries. Fiber-optic cables carry significant amounts of information with high fidelity and can support higher data transfers and at greater distances than coaxial cables. High quality and affordability are two reasons fiber-optic cables are replacing copper in key applications.

“For years customers have come to trust Oncore for guaranteed, high-quality products. We are now building on that reputation and expanding our offerings to include fiber-optic network cables. These products come with Oncore’s guarantee and our strong commitment to customer satisfaction,” says Mark Rapparport, president of Newport Beach, Calif.-based Oncore.

All Oncore fiber-optic network cables are individually tested and carry a lifetime guarantee. Oncore fiber cables are also available in custom lengths, colors, environmental specifications, and various multifiber cable configurations and combinations according to customer needs.
