Siemon’s 1U Copper/Fiber Combo Panel is a mixed media patch panel that allows copper outlets to be mixed with fiber ports in the same rackmount space to efficiently maximize rack-space use. Compatible with all Siemon plug-and-play metal (PPM) fiber modules and metal fiber adapter plates, the Combo Panel accepts up to four fiber modules or adapter plates within its 1RU height. Each copper adapter plate fits up to six copper outlets with individual port identification and accommodates both shielded and unshielded copper systems, from Cat-5e to Siemon’s Cat-7A TERA and Cat-6A Z-MAX outlets. The design includes integrated cable management features to secure cables in order to provide proper strain relief, and the panel is supplied complete with tie-wraps, grounding kit, and mounting screws.
