The TekvoxTEK-UT is a special edition of the company’s TEK 2 intelligent room controller. It performs dynamic transcoding of an RS-232 command/control stream from one device format to another in realtime. Since it may be impractical or cost-prohibitive to reprogram a legacy control system to control a new display or projector, externally transcoding the old control stream to the new device’s format provides AV integrators with a cost-conscious alternative. Use Tekvox’s graphical wizard tools to easily setup the input and output drivers and control codes.
