Gather with the industry’s finest at CEDIA Expo 2008 for five days — from Sept. 3 through Sept. 7.

The buzz, the anticipation, the excitement, it’s CEDIA Expo 2008 time. Believe it or not, it’s that time of year again, and preparation for the number one residential electronic-systems contractor show is in full swing. Online registration is now officially open; early bird discount registration closes July 16 at 5 p.m. PST.

Each year the electronic-systems industry grows and advances; therefore, CEDIA continues to evolve and supply thedemands of this ever-changing industry with education and exhibition. As CEDIA prepares to host CEDIA Expo 2008 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, the stage has been set.

In 2007, the show brought more than 29,000 attendees and more than 600exhibitors who showcased their latest and greatest electronic products. According to Don Gilpin, executive director of CEDIA, the tradeshow’s record-breaking attendance is about a 4-percent increase over last year’s figures. “Even at a time when negative housing trends and economic concerns could have forced many in the industry to stay home, CEDIA Expo 2007 increased in size again,” Gilpin says.

With that in mind, CEDIA Expo 2008 will be bigger, but more importantly, better. Exhibit space at CEDIA Expo 2006 used 315,293 net square feet and welcomed more than 28,000 attendees to the show. The exhibit space at CEDIA Expo 2007 was 318,159 net square feet, and more than 29,000 attendees visited the show. CEDIA Expo has continued to grow over the last 10 years, thus proving the growing demand in the industry.
