Popular CEDIA University Education and Training now Available on the East Coast

CEDIA knows the importance of keeping up with the latest trends and products in the residential-electronic-systems industry. To support this effort, in partnership with david (Digital Audio Video Integration Distributors) and Digital Sales Group NY, CEDIA is delivering eight training events in the new Westbury, N.Y., training facility beginning in April. These eight events are set to include CEDIA’s very popular Electronic Systems Technician (EST) Basic Residential Boot Camp, ESPA Certified-EST Review and Exam, and CEDIA University Electronic Systems Business (ESB) Night Class sessions.

CEDIA’s EST Basic Residential Boot Camp is a three-day event that is ideal for technicians with a year or less of experience in the residential-electronic-systems industry. The Westbury facility will house building structures that are used by students for hands-on activities to learn the basic residential-installation skills. Students can expect the same quality training in New York that they have become accustomed to at the CEDIA Training Facility in Indianapolis.

Also being offered is the all-new ESPA Certified-EST exam. This exam is ideal for an individual who has less than one year of experience and is interested in pursuing a low-voltage career. This certification program provides a gateway for new professionals to enter the workforce.

A new ESB Night Class package will also be offered as a series of courses every Wednesday evening over the course of five weeks. These ESB courses are 100- and 200-level courses that cover a variety of topics related to business.
