Have you registered for CEDIA Expo 2010 yet? Registration is now open, so start making your plans to attend the expo Sept. 22-26 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. This year, the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards have been expanded to include two new awards: the Attendees’ Choice Award and the HGTVPro Audience Choice Award.
Manufacturers will enter their best products through July 30 to be considered for the Attendees’ Choice Award. You’re the ones working with these products day in and day out; let your voice be heard. Voting will open for CEDIA Expo electronic systems contractor attendees Sept. 23, when the tradeshow floor opens. All voting will be online, and there will be computers onsite to vote. Voting will close Sept. 25 at
12 p.m. EST. The winner will be announced at the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards Banquet.
CEDIA and HGTVPro.com have partnered to bring Electronic Lifestyles Awards projects to HGTVPro.com viewers. More than 800,000 consumers—along with building, remodeling, and interior design professionals—will have the chance to vote on their favorite CEDIA member project from the Large Home Theater, Integrated Home, and Media Room categories. All entries in these categories from the 2010 competition will be part of the voting process. The winner of each category will be recognized as the HGTVPro.com Audience Choice Electronic Lifestyles Award winner at CEDIA Expo 2010 and on hgtvpro.com.
