More than 20,000 AV professionals attended this year’s InfoComm tradeshow in China, marking a 7-percent increase in presence compared with the previous year’s event. The concurrent Summit, comprising InfoComm University training and manufacturers’ presentations, registered an even bigger jump in attendance, an astounding 46 percent or 3,456 attendees. The show closed with larger rebookings and advance bookings for the next year’s show, signaling a potential new record in 2015.

InfoComm China is organized by InfoCommAsia Pte Ltd. and InfoComm International. After four successful runs in Shanghai since 2003, the show moved to the capital city of Beijing in 2007, and it now draws local AV professionals as well as visitors from India, South Korea, Taiwan and Southeast Asia.
