NSCA will begin its year-long celebration of its 30th year starting at InfoComm during the Member Appreciation Reception at the NSCA booth, C11536, on Thursday, June 14, from 3-5 p.m.

NSCA will once again recognize the low voltage industry’s up-and-coming Movers & Shakers along with the Lifetime Achievement Award winner. Other guests will also be honored during this casual networking opportunity right on the show floor. NSCA members can enjoy refreshments during the reception by picking up drink tickets during booth hours on June 13 and 14.The reception is sponsored by Bosch Communications, Lowell Manufacturing and Shure, Inc.

“This is a great opportunity to celebrate the association’s thirtieth year of existence, by kicking it off where the association began,at a tradeshow,” says Chuck Wilson, NSCA executive director. “This is NSCA’s way of saying ‘Thank You’ to the many members, past and present, who have contributed to the industry and our association.”

The NSCA Movers & Shakers award will honor integrators, consultants, journalists, manufacturer representatives, and others currently involved in the industry. Winners will be chosen based on industry involvement, professional development, leadership capabilities, strategic business plans, and other notable qualities. Winners will be recognized during the event, they will also be being eligible to receive a Randy Vaughan Business & Leadership Founders Award that provides qualified recipients (first-time BLC attendee and an employee of owner of a systems integration company) admission to the 2013 Business & Leadership Conference.
