NSCA to Provide Estimating & Project Management Training

NSCA’s popular project management training has been scheduled for a variety of dates throughout the remainder of 2012, to be held at locations in Minneapolis and Dallas.

Two full-day courses, Estimating of Systems Projects and Project Management of Systems Projects, have been requested due to significant demand by the integrator community facing increased challenges to stay on schedule, meet restricted budgets, and meet a variety of customer demands in a continually evolving business climate.

The courses may be taken individually or jointly with a discounted package rate. NSCA member companies can apply up to $100 each day in NSCA Education Credits, in addition to receiving special member pricing with savings up to $600.

During the one-day session, Estimating of System Projects, you will learn tools to avoid costly oversights and mistakes. This scientific approach to estimating projects allows integrators to consistently estimate costs through a series of “best practices,” recognize projects ripe with opportunity or destined for failure, and take away a reference guide to more accurately estimate projects going forward.

Save time, energy and frustration on your next project by attending Project Management of Systems Projects. Often, the scope of work can get lost in the shuffle of meeting timelines, budgets, and documentation organized. This one-day session will provide you with to:

  • Hold a kick-off meeting
  • Create a best-in-class project binder
  • Gather critical information for your daily logbook
  • Internal project review
  • Close the job
  • and more

This regional training will take place in ADI facilities:

  • Oct. 10-11: Bloomington, MN
  • Nov. 14-15: Farmers Branch, TX
