NSCA University returns to the annual InfoComm tradeshow in 2010 with more than 30 of its most popular and new educational sessions. Participants can advance their technical skills, explore new markets, discover best practices to improve efficiency, and more at the most forward-looking pro AV event this year.

NSCA University, which designs training exclusively for industry professionals, will introduce several new sessions to its lineup at InfoComm 2010. The new courses meet the increasing demand for industry-specific training for all levels of commercial electronic systems professionals—technicians, installers, managers, and owners—who want to advance their knowledge and skills. Highlights of new sessions include:

  • Computer-Based Design & Analysis Using EASE 4.3
  • NFPA 72 Changes for 2010: Profiting From Change
  • Superior Leadership: A Proven Formula for Increasing Profits
  • Maximizing the Productivity of Your Tech Staff
  • Life After Down Right! Sizing
  • Thrive or Just Survive
  • Increasing Profitability Through Project Management.

Many of NSCA’s top educators will also return to help students work toward NSCA’s Certificate of Completion Program (CCP), which proves employees’ dedication to success and continuing industry education.

“NSCA education means that we are involved with continually educating our technicians and engineers so we can stay current with new techniques, products and codes,” says Val Dempsey, Communications & Entertainment president. “It’s been something we’ve been able to use as a tool to compete with others who may not have some of the certifications.”

Additionally, NSCA will partner with AVI-SPL to offer the MGM Mirage LEED-Certified City Tour. Go behind the scenes of this 300,000-square-foot LEED Gold Certified resort development and view the extensive use of state-of-the-art AV technology, cabling, and amenities.
