AMX announced the release of its new HDMI-UTPro-0808 matrix switcher. The HDMI-UTPro delivers uncompressed HD 1920x1080p content up to 100 meters, making it the highest-performance digital media switcher available, according to the company. The HDMI-UTPro is a full matrix switcher that can route up to eight different HDMI sources, with HDCP authentication, to local displays via HDMI cabling or to remote displays via a single UTP cable. Using 10.2Gbps transmission, users can transmit HD video, audio, and control up to 100 meters without the need for repeaters. Another feature that truly sets it apart is the InstaGate technology from AMX. AMX HDCP InstaGate technology allows for HDMI signal switching without delays due to HDCP re-authentication and eliminates video stream interruption to existing HDMI signal paths. Price: NA
