Aviom, maker of the popular Pro16 personal monitor mixing system, introducing audio solutions with applications in “the Sanctuary and Beyond” at last week’s WFX 2007 (Booth #628).

Churches large and small have come to know and appreciate Aviom for its award-winning personal monitoring system, which has been responsible for solving the common problem of excess stage volume in the sanctuary and improved the worship experience at those churches as a result. Now, that same problem-solving technology has been applied to new products and solutions that can easily distribute, connect and direct audio to any location in the church facility or campus where people need to hear the message or the music.

Aviom brought to the show more of its unique brand of sophisticated yet reliable and easy-to-use technology for places beyond the sanctuary platform stage and monitor mixing. For example, the new Pro64 series runs over the same inexpensive, easy-to-install Cat-5 wiring, but it is a more robust audio transport platform than its Pro16 cousin.

WFX attendees will see how to extend the Aviom system that so many churches have come to love for applications that can unify the entire church audio system with simplicity, efficiency, and consistency. Those applications include:

  • Pro16 digital snake over Cat-5—Any Aviom personal monitor mixing system is easily expandable for audio distribution around and beyond the sanctuary with a modular digital snake with splits.
  • Aviom-Yamaha Pro64 digital snake with remote control—The Aviom-Yamaha connection is well known among houses of worship. Now, the power and simplicity of A-Net are easily attainable simply by connecting a new 6416Y2 interface card to any Yamaha digital console or mix engine.
  • Tie lines for analog and digital audio—Tie lines are crucial in unifying a live venue to a recording room or broadcast facility. A simple and proven solution for tie lines, the Pro64 series, featuring the new 6461dio Digital I/O module, can help make broadcasting or recording any live event inside the sanctuary a success.
