BenQ America introduced the next generation of its mini projector, the Joybee GP2. Building on the GP1 predecessor, the GP2 features a number of enhancements including a 720p HD-ready video capability, short-throw projection, an integrated iPhone/iPod dock, an optional three-hour battery pack, and increased connectivity options for mobile presentation and entertainment. Based on 3LED illumination and DLP projection technology, the 565-gram palm-sized GP2 claims 200-ANSI-lumen brightness, enabling users to share HD-quality presentations, videos, photos, and games on a 160in. display. The GP2 also features USB and SD card viewers, a document viewer for Microsoft Office and PDF documents, and mini HDMI for tablets and smartphones. Computers can connect to the projector for display via USB cable (no driver required), as well as using the USB file transfer function to take advantage of 2GB of onboard storage. Price: $699
