The eServices Varan Monitor, a networked remote monitoring appliance, manages IP-based and Crestron Cresnet devices. The Varan Monitor provides integrators with the ability to monitor, evaluate, and trigger any LAN or Cresnet system device from an easy-to-use web interface. The Varan Monitor also offers integrators a reliable source of recurring revenue streams, yet eliminates dependency on outside service providers. Unlike most remote monitoring products and services that require integrators to commit to lengthy and costly service contracts, each Varan Monitor is available for a one-time, fixed cost. The team at eServices developed the Varan Monitor to help integrators monitor the realtime status of any IP-based or Crestron Cresnet system. After installation, the Varan Monitor identifies and tracks each system device. Should a specific device or system stop responding, the Varan Monitor automatically sends a notification to the integrator’s email address or mobile phone via text message notifying him or her of the problem.
