Extron Electronics introduced the Fox 4G Matrix 320x, a high-performance, modular fiber-optic matrix switcher that provides complete, end-to-end digital AV signal transmission and routing over fiber-optic cable in very large environments such as university and corporate campuses. It is expandable from 16×16 to 320×320, and it supports digital switching at rates up to 4.25Gbps. With hot-swappable I/O boards, realtime system monitoring, and redundant, hot-swappable power supplies, the Fox 4G Matrix 320x delivers highly reliable, enterprisewide switching of fiber-optic AV and control signals for large-scale, mission-critical environments.
