IHSE USA 480c Series Matrix Switcher

IHSE USA has expanded its 480c series with new fiber-optic matrix switch solutions. The 480c series, specifically designed for smaller to midsize KVM requirements, now comes in 8, 16, 32, 48, 64, and 80 fiber ports complimenting the current Cat-X solutions in the same port sizes. These new affordable switch units can be used with IHSE USA’s 474, 477, 481, and 482 series extender modules and feature simple configuration via the on-screen display, through any of the available software bundles supporting the feature-enhanced Draco tera tool set, and via third-party control application using the company’s API protocol package. Transmitter or receiver extenders can be connected with single-mode fiber up to 10km from switch enclosure. Extenders can accommodate a variety of signal formats, and the matrix switch auto-senses the individual units through any available port on the chassis. The 480c includes instant switching technology for all the popular formats up to and including dual-link DVI resolutions up to 2560×2048 at 50/60Hz and full 24-bit resolutions.
