Falling prices and expanding roles for flatpanel displays have pushed them into more applications while broadening the feature sets for these devices. Growing in screen size and popularity, the LED/LCD units have ventured into the daylight with new screen surfaces, high brightness, and wider viewing angles for digital signage installations. One of the more interesting developments has been in touchscreen applications with larger and more durable indoor/outdoor models. Here, we have a look at a wide group of the newer displays with 24/7 operating reliability and other modern capabilities.

BenQ has combined the features of touchscreen technology with multimedia connectivity to produce the T650 interactive flatpanel, and provide a more immersive classroom media experience.
