NEC Display Solutions of America announced the latest model to join its P series, the 55in. P551. This industrial-strength display is designed to endure 24/7 environments with its advanced thermal design and panel protection. Additionally, the P551 offers extensive monitoring and control capabilities through RS-232 loopback and Ethernet connection. More than 30 built-in features assist during implementation with the Enhanced Digital Signage Technology Suite. The P551 can be mounted in both portrait and landscape orientations and is touch- and protective-glass-ready. The P551 will be available for July 2010 shipment with a three-year parts-and-labor warranty, including the backlight. Price: NA
