Pioneer debuted the XY-Series, a smaller line of speakers that can be used to complement its GS-Wave system or used as a standalone system. The series—which includes the XY-81, a two-way full range speaker; the XY-122, a two-way full range speaker; the XY-118S, a single driver reflex loaded subwoofer; and the XY-215S, a dual driver quasi-bandpass subwoofer—like the GSWave, features tune and optimized audio presets for use with Powersoft amplifiers and are ideal for venues that do not employ or have the budget for sound engineers.
