Remote Technologies Incorporated has announced the four-channel CP-450 and 16-channel CP-1650 audio amplifiers. Designed as complements to RTI’s eight-zone AD-8 distributed audio system, these amplifiers provide an additional 50W per channel. The CP-450 and CP-1650 feature Cool Power technology. The CP-1650 offers audio input level adjustment on each channel, loop-in/loop-out connections for simple daisy chaining, and bridgeable audio outputs for increased power to a whopping 100W. Both amplifiers are suitable for rack-mount or freestanding installations. Power control is available ffrom voltage trigger, RS-232, and IR.. For more than one amplifier, voltage trigger and IR pass-through allow for control of an additional unit. Price: CP-450, $699; CP-1650, $1,499
