Tripp Lite VGA over Cat-5 Extenders/Repeaters

Tripp Lite has introduced a new series of VGA over Cat-5 extenders/repeaters designed to receive and retransmit VGA and VGA-plus-audio signals over long distances. The Extender/Repeater Kit features a local transmitter unit and a remote/repeater unit, allowing a VGA 1024x768 signal to be extended 1,000ft. Remote/repeater units can then be connected, allowing the signal to be regenerated an additional 1,000ft., with up to five monitors (one local, four remote) located at different points in a daisy-chain of up to 2,000ft. Installation is simple with Cat-5e/6 cable, allowing for inexpensive installation for digital signage applications in classrooms, retail environments, and more. The extenders/repeaters also feature equalization and gain controls. Price: NA
