Enhancing its installation and integration portfolio with the latest technology and capabilities, InFocus Corporation, the worldwide leader in digital projection technology and services, debuted a new wireless-ready, high-performance projector that combines powerful projection, easy installation, and versatile options. The InFocus LP860 offers advanced features and integration that enables presenters to captivate audiences in boardrooms, training settings, places of worship, and large auditoriums.

Making it easier for projection technology to be used in large spaces, the new InFocus LP860 features native SXGA+ resolution and a powerful 3500 lumens to flood any large meeting room, classroom, or auditorium with clear, bright images. Also, with simple menus and standardized remote controls, the InFocus LP860 continues ease-of-use features that are familiar to existing InFocus customers and an integral part of InFocus' installation and integration family.

"The LP860 features innovative advancements that allow the customer to transform meetings or other presentations into a dynamic, interactive experience," says Scott Ballantyne, chief marketing officer, InFocus Corporation. "Whether it's used in the boardroom, classroom, or worship facilities, the LP860 is a powerful projector demonstrating our commitment to provide the most advanced solutions for our customers."

The InFocus LP860 is also wireless-ready as the latest addition to the family of projectors that support InFocus LiteShow, the secure, wireless digital projection solution. InFocus LiteShow allows users to securely project their ideas from PCs anywhere in the room on a shared projector for individual or group presentations, enhancing collaboration and reducing the hassle of multiple cables and awkward room configurations.

Other key features of the InFocus LP860 include motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift to accommodate all room sizes and configurations, and a 36dB whisper mode to reduce audible noise in smaller venues for minimal disruption.

The InFocus LP860 will be available in April 2005. For more information, please visit www.infocus.com.
