Gooseneck Microphone: Avlex Superlux PRA-618M
In addition to upgrades and new hardware for the NION programmable digital audio processing node, MediaMatrix, a division of Peavey, has a new version of its NWare software.
The latest gooseneck microphone from Avlex is the Superlux PRA-618M. It’s engineered to suit a wide range of installed sound projects, such as conference facilities, boardrooms, lecture halls, and houses of worship. The PRA-618M features a miniature dynamic capsule that has the advantages of a supercardioid polar pattern, resulting in tailored vocal frequency response and the ability to pick up sound from a greater distance with high gain before feedback, the company says.
