NEC Display Solutions has introduced the Multeos M40 and M46 LCD displays, which are designed for use in digital signage and professional AV applications. The 46-inch M46 and 40-inch M40 (pictured here) displays offer high-definition 1080p resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The displays are available in three configurations: the IT version, which offers VGA, DVI-D, and 5-pin BNC connectors; the AV version, which includes VGA, DVI-D, and 5-pin BNC connectors, as well as HDMI component, composite, S-video, and audio inputs and outputs; and the AVT version, which offers an ATSC HD tuner, an NTSC standard-definition tuner, and RF inputs to support HDTV and SDTV signals.
