The TLP-X200U from Toshiba's Digital Products Division is its first projector with voice guidance, which, according to company officials, reduces maintenance costs by audibly directing users through the projector's operating instructions and system warnings.
The lightweight 3LCD projector is wireless and network adaptable and incorporates closed captioning. The multiscreen function, for use in large venues, allows users to network up to four projectors to create one large image. Emitting 3,000 ANSI lumens, it displays in XGA (1024x768) native resolution with a 600:1 contrast ratio and a built-in blackboard function with wall-color adjustment. Likewise, the TLP-WX100U emits 2,200 ANSI lumens, displays in WXGA (1280x800) native resolution, and includes a closed captioning function.
