The VP-8K, according to the company, is a high-performance HDTV-compatible DA for computer graphics signals with resolutions exceeding UXGA. It accepts one computer graphics input on a 15-pin HD connector and outputs the signal via eight 15-pin HD connectors to eight destinations or displays. The DA also features a video bandwidth of 370 MHz, internal ID Bit control, a termination switch, along with Kramer's Kr-isp advanced sync processing technology.

When enabled, Kr-isp provides a sharp, stable image and provides compatibility with a range of computers, even if the sync level is too low by restoring the sync signal waveform, says the company.
The VP-8K is housed in a desktop-sized enclosure, and operates with an external 5-volt DC power supply. The VP-8K is currently available through authorized Kramer resellers at a list price of $585.
