Westinghouse Digital Electronics launched a commercial business unit to focus solely on commercial business development, digital signage, and business-to-business LCD displays. John Araki will lead the new unit as its vice president and general manager.
"We will provide separate product offerings as an all-in-one solution for commercial and digital signage applications," says Araki.
Westinghouse Digital will increase emphasis on research and development as well as product development in the commercial market. While the company's professional display product line, VM product line, and quad monitors will fall under the commercial business unit, consumer electronics will continue to be Westinghouse Digital's primary focus.
