The Shure PGX digital wireless system is the company’s first such solution. It employs true diversity (two antennas and two receivers) and operates in the 900-MHz frequency band to be free from TV signal interference while continuously scanning to determine the optimal channel. The system uses 24-bit, 48-kHz digital technology for accurate sound and has a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Up to five PGX digital systems can be used at once, each automatically scanning and synchronizing with wireless transmitters. Like the PGX analog systems, the PGX digital model works with a variety of Shure microphones, including the WL185 lavalier, PG30 headworn, and SM58 microphones. 847-600-2000. www.shure.com.
