The digital wireless intercom system is based on a cellular architecture that offers license-free communication and allows as many as 20 beltpacks to roam between remote active antennas. Additionally, CellCom Version 2.0 operates in the 1.9 GHz frequency range and, the company says, will not be affected by the migration of competing wireless systems to the 2.4 GHz range once the FCC's RF spectrum reallocation is complete.
