BTX Technologies' latest addition to its MaxBlox family of solderless connectors is the CA-MX35M 3.5-mm stereo cable mount male connector. The CA-MX35M terminates with only a screwdriver and is designed for use in applications where computer audio or IR control are used. The connector consists of a 3.5-mm stereo plug with an attached screw terminal block, plus a two-piece, snap-together hood. According to the company, the rugged CA-MX35M was specifically designed to allow installers to terminate a 3.5-mm stereo cable mount plug without the use of a soldering iron.
