The Phantom Mic Rider phantom-powered in-line DSP from Sabine incorporates the company's FBX Feedback Exterminator, which increases gain before feedback. The DSP also features automatic gain control, which maintains gain as the user moves toward and away from the mic; proximity effect control, which reduces excess bass; plosive control, which reduces pops and bursts from certain consonant sounds; and a gate, which mutes the mic when no one is in front of it via an infrared sensor. Three models are available for gooseneck, podium, and handheld microphones. Price: $119.95 (all models). Availability: February (all models). For more information, contact Sabine at 800–626–7394 or at www.sabine.com.
