Mutliviewer: SierraView

The new SierraView MultiViewer from Sierra Video allows users to combine and display multiple images–or tiles–on a single or dual video display device in control room or studio environments. Company officials say SierraView can be used to increase the number of images shown on one display device or can act as the hub for several display devices. There are two frame types offered: one uses the whole frame for one multiviewer with up to 64 video inputs, and the second has a split frame providing two separate multiviewers, each with 32 video inputs. Each 3RU frame comes with two DVI-I outputs, and two types of video input card: HD or non-HD capable. SierraView can support almost any video format up to 1080p HD. Price: Contact vendor.
