The VGA-SR-F passive VGA balun from Intelix extends video signals up to 450 feet over standard unshielded twisted pair cable, such as Cat-5 or Cat-6. According to the company, unlike its previous models of passive VGA extenders, the VGA-SR-F does not require shielded Cat-5 cable. To use, connect the VGA-SR-F “send” balun to the source device, connect standard unshielded twisted pair cabling, and connect the “receive” balun to the destination device.
