The PortaCom Pro wireless intercom system from Anchor Audio incorporates the company's Omni Point Expandable Network (OPEN) technology, which allows an unlimited number of users to simultaneously share the secured system without using base station repeaters or active antennae. The system uses spread spectrum technology and the 2.4 GHz frequency to prevent interference from other 2.4 GHz devices and in-plant electronics.
