Pragmatic Communications Systems has introduced the PTS1 tube loudspeaker, which is aimed at sound distribution and architectural audio applications. The loudspeaker, which has a built-in amplifier, produces a 120 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, a greater the 90 dB dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio, and an 81 dB SPL (1W @ 1M) power output. The PTS1 is compatible with the company's Pragmatic Audio Distribution System (PADS), which is a multi-room audio system that includes an audio signal hub, as well as multiple signal transmitters and receivers. The PTS1 can be connected to PADS via Cat5 cable. It measures 2 inches in diameter by 4.8 inches tall. Price: N/A. Availability: currently available.
