Da-Lite was getting feedback from customers who wanted screens that could display multiple formats and maintain a constant height, so the company came out with its Multi Format Imager masking system, which supports screens up to 16 feet wide. With the masking retracted, the native aspect ratio is Cinemascope (2.35:1). With masking, users can achieve letterbox (1.85:1), HDTV (1.78:1), and NTSC video (1.33:1) formats. It comes with Pro-Trim finish, a fabric frame covering that enhances the appearance of the installation and absorbs light. The imager can be combined with Da-Lite Cinema Contour, Da-Snap, or Imager fixed-frame screens, as well as JKP Affinity Screen series material. 800-622-3737. www.dalite.com.
