HDMI Switcher: Aurora Multimedia ASP-44
The Aurora ASP-44 switcher is HDMI 1.3c-compliant and can route HD video sources plus multichannel (up to 7.1 channel) digital audio from four HDMI sources to any four displays at the same time.
In the latest addition to its Aspyre line of matrix switchers, Aurora Multimedia is now offering the ASP-44. The switcher is HDMI 1.3c-compliant and can route high-definition video sources plus multichannel (up to 7.1 channel) digital audio from any of four HDMI sources to any four displays at the same time. It comes with default HDMI extended display identification data (EDID) and can learn the EDID of attached displays for faster switching. The ASP-44 can be controlled via RS-232, infrared, or Ethernet with an optional add-on. It’s a 1RU rack-mountable device and consumes 20W of power.
