JVC has upped the ante in LCD TV, introducing two models with Clear Motion Drive technology, which produces images at 120 frames per second (120Hz). Double the rate of standard LCD technology, Clear Motion inserts an interpolated image that’s said to offer a reduction in the blurring or ghost images that can plague conventional LCD TVs. Clear Motion Drive is also said to minimize flicker and improve brightness. Liquid crystal response time is 6 milliseconds, which also contributes to reduced image blur. Other features include ATSC/QAM/NTSC tuning, digital 3D Y/C comb filter with DTV cross color elimination, digital noise reduction, MPEG noise reduction, and an array of inputs: two HDMI, two sets of component, two S-Video, and a 15-pin D-Sub PC input.
