Sonance's Sonamp 875D SE is an 8-channel, 75W-per-channel RMS hybrid amplifier. Digital technology combined with analog power supplies result in efficiency, compactness, and high-end sound quality. Engineered for use in multi-room/multi-channel audio systems, the 875D SE measures two rack spaces high. Adaptive/predictive high-frequency pulse modulation is said to achieve the kind of low-distortion performance on both steady-state and transient distortion tests usually associated with superb Class AB amplifiers. Channel pairs can be bridged to yield one, two, three, or four 300W channels (at 8Ů). All channels remain stable and operate at full-performance when driving speakers at 4Ů loads. Each zone features individual 12V trigger in and out, plus signal-sensing on/off switching. An RS-232 control port permits custom integration with most controllers.
