Gefen is now offering a personal video recorder for the custom installation market. Available in standard- and high-definition versions, the PVR offers one-touch recording of up to four sources. The recorders are compatible with multiple AV formats, and the high-def version features onboard conversion of analog audio/video signals to digital via HDMI.
Users can download selected programming, images, and music onto any USB storage device or SD card for playback in portable devices. Capacity is 80GB.
The HD model stores just more than 17 hours of programming in 1080i resolution.
