Aquavision® Appoints Stampede to Serve as its North American Distributor

AMHERST, NEW YORK, November 30, 2015 — Following its successful North American debut at CEDIA 2015, Aquavision®, the originator and manufacturer of high performance in-wall / waterproof televisions, today announced a major expansion of its U.S. marketing programs with the appointment of leading ProAV solutions provider Stampede (www.stampedeglobal.com) to serve as its North American distributor. According to Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly, the appointment is effective immediately.

“Televisions are becoming a staple in more and more environments where they are exposed to the elements, both in consumer and commercial applications,” Kelly said today. “The growing consumer demand to incorporate outdoor living areas into their homes, along with the need for hotels, schools, restaurants, and bars to feature more and more televisions in their indoor and outdoor environments is going to drive category sales for years to come. The addition of the award-winning Aquavision line of in-wall / waterproof televisions to our brand portfolio is going to provide our resellers with an exciting new solution for their commercial and consumer customers.”

In announcing the appointment of Stampede, Aquavision Inc. CEO Larry White noted that, “We are very excited to partner with Stampede, a company with the ability to significantly drive our long-term North American sales programs. Our products appeal to both the luxury residential as well as the hospitality and commercial markets. Stampede has a reseller network that understands and appreciates the unique combination of design, performance and reliability that have made the Aquavision brand a leader around the world. We design, engineer and manufacture every one of our award-winning televisions and this passion for excellence is what has made us the Bentley of the in-wall/waterproof television category.”

According to White, Aquavision will be featured in the new Stampede Big Book of AV and will be a participant in 2016 trade shows and Big Book of AV Tour & Series events.

Indeed, Aquavision is known around the world as the company that literally created thebathroom television category in 1997. Since then, the company has become the world’s number one line of waterproof televisions, recognized everywhere for their beautiful design, rugged performance, and long-term reliability. They offer a complete range of sizes from 16” to 85”.

Aquavision televisions are specifically designed with an ultra-thin profile to enable them to be built into any studded or solid wall, where they can be tiled or plastered in to create the most sophisticated flush appearance. Aquavision recently made its North American debut at CEDIA 2015, where it introduced the world’s first and only HDBaseT powered television, world’s first waterproof 4K Ultra HD television, and its MirrorVision Plus glass. The company’s 4K Elite Series of televisions has also been chosen as a “2015 Product of the Year Finalist” in this year’s UK Pool and Spa Awards. Aquavision televisions interface with AMX, Control4, Crestron, and RTI control systems.
